Jack & Jazz

Jack ‘n Jazz is a dj-project, formed by dj Jack Herer and dj Jazzmin. Jack and Jazzmin met 4 years ago, through mutual friends. After a long period of just saying “hi and bye”, Jack and Jazz started running in to each other more often. They discovered that they shared the same passion for house music, dj’ing and partying. Jazzmin started playing at the early age of 17 and got invited to play at several clubs and parties pretty soon, but she never took her passion as far as she could and soon, dj’ing became a side-activity. As for Jack, he started playing a few years ago and immediately fell in love with his two silver-gray turntables.

Pretty soon he played at Decadance, Ghent’s finest house-club, but this was just the beginning. Jack founded the infamous What's Cookin'? parties that are running strong nowadays in their hometown Ghent, along with some side projects such as Boudoir Noir a concept hosted by Jack ’n Jazz in the cozy suite 16. Talking about their mutual dj-agony, Jack and Jazzmin found the perfect solution: to team up as Jack ‘n Jazz and take their dj’ing to another level. And so they did. Along the way, Jack and Jazzmin became much more than just dj-partners, they became best friends and the mix of this close friendship, their passion for house music and a weekly goat-cheese salad, turned out to be the success-formula they needed … .
