"The 1 Man Army" has become one of the most recognized and respected names in the global reggae and dancehall scene. Originating from Germany, Mattia fell in love with Jamaican music in the 90s, influenced by his father. In the early 2000s, he started playing music in Wuppertal, where he became a resident at the legendary U-Club, hosting the renowned "Jamaican Rum Night." 

This residency helped establish his name in Germany and beyond. As a passionate soundclash competitor, Mattia built a world-class dubplate collection and has played and won some of the biggest clashes on the planet. His accolades include victories at the Reggae Sumfest Global Soundclash in Jamaica (2019) and the Jamrock Cruise Soundclash at Sea (2019). He has also competed at the World Clash, War Ina East, and even defeated Bass Odyssey in a clash in Germany.

During the pandemic, Warrior Sound adapted by launching the daily "Shutdown Show" on Twitch, which gained a massive international following, making him one of the most influential reggae streamers.

His efforts earned him Twitch Partner status and led to collaborations with Serato, Major Lazer, Walshy Fire, and other industry heavyweights. In 2021, Mattia founded Warrior Sound Music, an independent record label, working with top reggae artists such as Sizzla, Fantan Mojah, Dre Island, Ward 21, and Million Stylez. The label continues to push reggae and dancehall music worldwide.

With over 75 shows annually, Warrior Sound is a staple at major reggae festivals and events globally. He has performed at Rototom Sunsplash, Ruhr Reggae Summer, Summerjam, Reggae Geel, and many other festivals, making him one of Europe's most in-demand selectors.
